Yosemite Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in North America with a total drop of 2,425 feet. That’s as tall as the Sears Tower plus Eiffel Tower combined! Within Yosemite’s nearly 1,200 square miles you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, a vast wilderness area, and much more. After a night of camping we will explore the Valley some before backpacking up the north rim to campout near the top of the great falls.

Itinerary
Day 1: We will meet at the SRWC at 12:00pm to load up the van and start our journey to Yosemite National Park. We stop for gas and dinner along the way (not provided, bring money) before arriving late into camp.

Day 2: After good night’s sleep and breakfast, we pack up camp and prepare our backpacks for our wilderness trek. We have time to check out the valley visitor center, lower Yosemite Falls viewing area, and have lunch before starting our 3.8 mile, 3,175 foot elevation gain journey to the top of the north rim of Yosemite Valley to set up camp for the night.

Day 3: After a well-earned sleep and a morning visit to the top of the falls without the crowd we will break camp and head back to the valley. If time allows we will check out some other highlights of the park before our drive home. We plan to arrive at the SRWC around 10:0pm.
