Santa Barbara is situated on an east-west trending section of the West United States coastline. With the city laying between the steeply-rising Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean this city is known for being the picture perfect beach life. Santa Barbara is Southern California at its finest. Also referred to as the American Riviera, Santa Barbra has beautiful beaches, majestic mountains and colorful culture that make Santa Barbara a premier destination. In other words… the perfect place for a weekend kayak trip!

Day 1: We meet at the SRWC load our gear and head west. We will arrive in Santa Barbara for lunch and to enjoy the beach before kayaking the protected waters of Santa Barbara. After our paddle we head to our camp to set up our tents and make dinner and enjoy a campfire. 

Day 2: After a breakfast of breakfast Santa Barbaraitos we will go for another paddle on the ocean. That evening we will explore State Street and have dinner in town.

Day 3: After a quick breakfast we will pack up camp and start our journey home. Along the way we will have a lunch break and go for a hike. 


5 meals are included, starting with diner on day 1 (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner)
2 meals are not included. Lunch on day1 and dinner on day 2. Bring money. 

Hygiene and Comfort
We will be staying in reserved campsites. The campsites are within close proximity to drinking water, flush toilets, and there are showers for a fee. You will have the option to share a tent with one or two people or sleep out under the cover of the stars.  Light weight tents, warm synthetic sleeping bags, foam pads and ground tarps will be provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The ground consists of soft and hard soil.
