Take Back the Night is an event which began in the 1970’s in response to the numerous amounts of violent crimes against women as well as a way to protest the violence that women experienced while walking in public at night. Today Take Back the Night is an opportunity for people of all genders and backgrounds to unite and take a stand against all forms of gender-based and interpersonal violence through a rally, march, and survivor speak out.  
5-6:00- Resource fair/DJ/Clothesline Project/Food/Sign making
6-7:30 - Rally/Keynote speaker Lorena Gallo (formerly Bobbitt)
7:30-8:00 - March
8:00-9:00 - End at the SMSU fourplex for Survivor Speak out
