The CJ Club will assemble a panel or board of interviewers with experience in the law enforcement application process. This may include current or former officers or deputies, detectives, former applicants, or human resource professional. The purpose of this exercise is to help prepare students for the enormous task of applying with agencies and organizations with more stringent requirements. Often applicants do not or have not been helped in this area of the process until after they have failed several times. At that point, there are followed to subsequent interviews having to disclose previous disqualifications due to poor interview performance; which further limits the likelihood of being hired. We hope to change that model for some participants, and have great signs of success in the past with applicants.
