Dr. Yang earned BS at Korea Aerospace University, MBA at Ohio State University and Ph.D. in Finance at University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
Courses/Teaching
Dr. Yang has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at CSUSB. Those courses cover topics on Corporate Finance, Case studies, MS Excel, Advanced Corporate Finance, and Investment.
Research and Teaching Interests
Dr. Yang has researched on the the following areas of merger and acquisition, merger arbitrage, market efficiency, hedge funds, earnings management, cryptocurrencies, etc. His researches has been published at International Review of Financial Analysis, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Alternative Investments, Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics, and Pan-Pacific Journal of Business Research.
Dr. Yang has an interest in developing courses in Corporate Finance and Investments. Recently, he developed an advanced Corporate Finance course.
